What is it?

Bone grafting is the replacement or augmentation of bone around the teeth. It is performed to reverse bone loss/destruction from periodontal disease, trauma, or ill-fitting removable dentures.

What are the benefits?

Bone grafting can be used to augment bone for implant placement, to enhance the fit and comfort of a removable prostheses, or to enhance the aesthetics of a missing tooth.
